SECOND YOUTH –  OVER 65 YEARS OLD PROGRAM FOR CRETE  WINTER 2021-2022 

THE SECOND YOUTH    program refers to peole 65 years old and over either they come with their wifes or with their companions and must be at least one of the two people in case of couples to be 65 years or over 65 years old

The program is a mixture of classical  tour /religious tour and green natural tour .it will have visits in classical monuments  in religious monuments churches and monasteries and easy walking paths villages to meet with local people and taste local homemade plates and taste the greek products wines and olive oil and olives and chesses and whatever the Greek land offers for the Mediterranean healthy diet

Simply life, small walking, relaxing with beautiful natural scenery , natural life ,a lot of meetings with locals and over all to see the life in our country in a different way than the other tours offer

We want these tours to be more real, feel comfortable and breath see and feel what is real life in Greece

Our goal is you come to Greece 65 years old and on your departure to feel that you are 56 years old

Program 5 nights 6 days    CRETE THE MEDITERRANEAN  QUEEN, HISTORY AND CULTURE

Day 1: arrival in crete  Heraklion airport transfer to the hotel welcome dinner at local restaurant taste the Cretan plates and the Cretan tsikoudia (raki) and Cretan wine return to hotel overnight

Day 2: breakfast in hotel and transfer to knossos palace visit with professional guide and private bus and departure to visit the Kazantzakis museum we will stop on the way to skalani village and free time for lunch then we will visit the museum of kazantzakis and we will depart to visit the

Peza village where we will have a wine tasting and we will taste some of the local wines accompanied with a tipikal kerasma  bread with olive paste and olive oil extra vergine the village is well known for its olive oil and for its wines

We will return to Heraklion and  evening walking in the city to see sta titus church and the church of agiod minas the protector of the city as well as some of the city s  Venetian buildings and the morozini fountain  lunch in local restaurant with traditional cretan plates and return to hotel overnight

Day 3:  breakfast in the hotel and we will depart to visit rethimno and chania two beautiful cities at the west part of crete with a lot of interesting places small walking tours in the old center of the cities and free time in chania port for lunch will be the must of the day then we will return to Heraklion for dinner at hotel  overnight

Day 4:  breakfast at hotel and departure to visit agios nikolaos village free time to stroll around visit the church of panagia kera with the wonderful frescoes  and then we will continue to diktaion andron a cave that according the mythology Zeus the father of Gods was born after the visit we will continue to Heraklion dinner overnight at hotel

Day 5: we will depart tocross crete from north to south we will visit the festos palace and then we will depart to matala the village on the lybian sea well known in 60-70 s  as the hippies place and we will have free time for swimming and lunch after strolling in the village we will take the way back to Heraklion

Afternoon free to stroll in the city on your own dinner in a restaurant in amoudara with Cretan food and antikrysto the famus and well known way of cooking the meat in Crete and other Mediterranean Cretan plates   including Cretan wine and sweets

Return to hotel overnight

 

Day 6:  breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport  flight back home

The prices will be based in single rate in the hotel and the accompanied person will be free together with the person that will accompany  IN TWIN

The accompanied person will pay only the entrance fees and the meals

The accompanied person will not pay anything for the services transfers and guide

Minimum pax per group 20 pax

The overnight tax of the hotel will be paid by the client on the spot

The entrance fees will be paid by the client on the spot

In case of European clients over 65 years old the entrance fees have a 40%discount

For American or non European clients there is no discount in entrance fees
